Tanya Gibbs is a citizen of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. She obtained a B.A. in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from James Madison College at Michigan State University and a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a certificate in Business Transactions. She is the managing partner of Mshkawzi Law, LLP where her practice is principally focused on non-gaming economic development.
